9. 7 Essential Checkpoints to Avoid SSUP Rejection
Review these critical verification rules before submitting to avoid rejected update requests on the portal.
-
Exact Document Match: Ensure data typed in the online form strictly matches the name/address on the uploaded document character-for-character.
-
Resident's Own Name: The uploaded supporting document must be in the resident's own name (unless accompanied by a valid HoF declaration).
-
Matching Dropdown Type: Carefully select the exact matching document category in the portal dropdown for the uploaded file.
-
High-Resolution Color Scans: Upload crisp, legible color scans of original documents (not blurry or black-and-white photocopies).
-
Realistic Age Consistency: Ensure the date of birth/age claimed on the document aligns plausibly with the facial photograph on Aadhaar.
-
Gender Synchronization: Ensure the gender declared on the portal and the supporting identity document are completely in sync.
-
Complete Address Details: Avoid partial addresses (missing house number, landmark, or PIN code) which trigger automated rejection.
